Unboxed
The project "unboxed" represents the continuation of the creative search that began with the exhibition "Interface" in 2019 and evolved with the performance "Interface" in 2020 in collaboration with Dimitra Economou.
During this process we explored our common references to the abstract qualities of our painting and the contrasts in terms of writing, form and colour , with the dominant element being the superiority of pure emotion and the depiction of composition, while then, through the performance "Interface", we created a shared creative space limited by a box, encouraging the flow of creativity and the interaction between us in the closed environment a parallel visual and physical experience.
In "Unboxed", we show that we created 12 hours of interaction inside the box.
Seeking total liberation from confining contexts and conscious interaction with open space. We integrated the contrast of the first exhibition with the harmony of the second action, highlighting the freedom of bodies as a means of expression and search. With "Unboxed", we completed a cycle of creation and exploration, as we became observers and co-operated with our shared works, discovering new dimensions in the interaction of our art with space, the sound of matter and its audience.
